What is Rick Meyers saying by focusing on predestination?

What Rick Meyers is saying by focusing on predestination, is the same thing that the Pharisees and Sadducees said by we have Abraham as our father. That says, we are God’s children simply because of this [false] belief that we are God’s children. By this [false] doctrine we are saved.

So where they said we are God’s children because we have Abraham as our father, Rick Meyers says I am God’s child because of predestination, because I was chosen before the foundation  of the world (simply because I believe I was). It removes any personal responsibility from him, like fruit in keeping with repentance, or any form of repentance.

Mathew 3:7-10  ⁷ But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? ⁸ Therefore bear fruit in keeping with repentance; ⁹ and do not suppose that you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham for our father’; for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham. ¹⁰ The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

The Bible does not teach if you believed your saved that you are. It does not teach you are saved by believing you’re saved. The Bible does not teach if you believe you’re chosen that you are. The Bible teaches repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Then you can know you are saved because of that, not because you held a certain belief structure.

Rick is saying, I have this belief structure therefore I am saved. I am God’s child simply because I believe that I am. And the proof of this is, look here at my salvation by predestination (obviously what I believe by picking out only Ephesians 1:5 and no verses shedding light on what that means). Since I believe it true, therefore it is. And obviously he believes that based on what he had written chosen meant before he removed it: A great belief (not actually) for someone who is not saved because to be “saved” all he has to do is believe in a doctrine and of course write GOD in capital letters, when you lie about your wedding date to deny your daughter.

He is ironically right, though. His lie is wrong but Krystal is not related to him at all. She is God’s child and Rick Meyers is Satan’s child. So, the distance and separation he knows is there and that he is right about to the extent that he can tell Krystal is not related to him, is real. He sees this separation from his warped point of view though, where he is on God’s side, so by default Krystal is of the devil, in his mind, and not his child. But the truth is, it’s the other way around.
